Summer Setter's Camp

The EDGE Summer Setter's Camp is a two-day, setters skills camp.  The camp will be broken up into a beginner and Intermediate to Advanced camp. 

Beginner
We will start with the literal foundation of star-pattern footwork. Squaring down the net line. Hand placement. The five points of flexion.  The setting basics.

Intermediate to advanced 
There will be very little time spent on basic fundamentals. This camp will focus on setter speed to transitions, footwork,  first/zero tempo sets, and tactical setting. 

Which level should I choose?

For the beginner setting camp, there are no pre-requisites. But players who have played in a minimum of one summer or one winter/spring session of our developmental program (not necessarily as a setter) will get the most benefit. 

For the intermediate to advanced setting camp.  Players registering for this camp must satisfy the following pre-requisites:

• Pre-requisite (must satisfy ONE of the following):
  • Must have at least one high school season as a setter
  • Must have at least one club season as a setter

Camp Details

• Two-day camp:
  • Saturday, June 1
    • Beginner: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
    • Intermediate/Advanced: 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM
  • Sunday, June 2
    • Beginner: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
    • Intermediate/Advanced: 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM
• Cost is $100 per player
